Someone in my family I forget how I’m related to him helped start this. It started in the garage and they ran pizzas on there bikes to everyone on campus. Then got so big and busy they opened their own store.

White Castle hamburgers also started in Wichita in the 1920s. This basically means we invented diabetes.

I dined once at this original store when I was a boy and long before it was moved to Wichita State campus. The second location they opened was larger and was located at Pawnee and Hydraulic. We dined there many times over the years. That location opened in the 60s and is still operating at it original location.

My roommate and his mom made that our first stop when we came to look for housing for our internships. I've never had a worst first impression lol.

Yea we basically have nothing we have a couple first fast food location but nothing cool at all.

I've been riding my bike to work and going right past it just about every day for almost two years. I didn't even know it was there for the first year. I thought it was a maintenance shed.

They actually moved it slightly from one part of the campus to where it is today

Hi Sam! I've seen quite a few "travel' videos about Wichita, and yours is the best. Very well done, from the excellent photography to the selection of points of interest. Sure, there were a few other places to highlight. . .the DOC B-29 Hangar and Museum, for example. It ties so well into the city's aviation history. 1,644 of them were built in Wichita during WW II. Wichita isn't my hometown, but I've lived here a long time and spent many years directing live TV newscasts. And I just have to say, from a "director's" viewpoint, you're a wonderful "performer." You really do a great job on your videos. Your energy and presentation style is engaging and fun. Glad I found you here, and I plan to "travel" a lot more with you!
